Jennifer Benner has been promoted to director of Global Quality Assurance, BioStorage Technologies, Inc.

Ms. Benner joined the company in 2003 and spearheaded the creation of the company’s quality assurance department. In her new role, she will oversee this department on both a local and global scale, ensuring the management of more than 130 standard operating procedures (SOPs), approval of all validation documents for ISISS and remote alarm monitoring system and temperature mapping of storage units.

Ms. Benner is also responsible for facilitating all external audits and serves as the contact for external quality assurance personnel. Ms. Benner’s staff performs quarterly internal audits of all the company’s storage units, project folders, training folders and maintenance documentation. She also serves as the company’s safety officer and assistant radiation safety officer.

“Jennifer has developed a quality foundation for the company’s global quality management system,” said F. John Mills, M.D., Ph.D., chief executive officer and chairman of the board. “As the company grows the Quality Assurance function will continue to be a cornerstone of our company’s continued success.”
